This is our little Charmer (C.J.) He was purchased from TJ's Yorkies in Texarkana Arkansas as our up and coming Stud.
C.J. was found to have a heart murmur when we brought him home and had him examined 4-23-09. It has since closed however, as a responsible breeder of this wonderful breed I can not ethically use him as a breeder. Also from veterinary records obtained by the veterinarian used by T.J.'s yorkies, the litter mate of C.J. in an examination performed on May 22, 09 was found to had a grade IV luxating patella which is a genetic defect and re-enforces my decision not to allow C.J. to reproduce but to be a loved and totally spoiled part of the Southern Charm family. On August 31, C.J. was diagnosed with GR II-III Luxating Patella bi-lateral and has to have surgery to correct this.
